3D Mapping

Drones are also able to capture images in such a way that they can be processed to produce several 3D outputs all of which are provided in the correct scale and geolocation.

  • Contour lines and 3D topography.

  • Point Clouds that can be used as a source of data and dimensions for existing conditions geometry in a 3D modeling software (E.g. Revit).

  • 3D model (textured mesh) that can be used in visualization efforts to show context around the project.

  • Facade surveys, a technique that allows photographing and producing a digital copy of a building elevation with great detail.
